The Faces of Barnard project was created in the Fall of 2012 as a platform to showcase the diversity of our college through an artistic lens. We are a photographic representation of the faces and stories that help define our experience at Barnard College of Columbia University and the surrounding community. This new initiative seeks to embrace the range of backgrounds, identities and personalities that can be found on our campus. As we follow up with selected participants through personal interviews, we present a glimpse into the stories of the people that shape our day to day experiences during our time at Barnard.
The Faces of Barnard project seeks to build community. We ask that the people behind the pictures are met with respect and support.
